We meet on Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm and evening 6-8pm during the summer months for a friendly game and social get together afterwards.

New players are always welcome, and if you are starting out and don’t know how to play we can help. Further information can be found the on the Bowling club website. Please use the contact page on the website to get in touch or alternatively send an email to the Bowling club. Or you can simply turn up on a Tuesday. We look forward to hearing from you.

We are a mixed club of varying experience and ability and the members have a long list of achievements in both local and county competitions.

Club member Atillio Ciampini had a particularly successful 2015 from an individual perspective winning the following:

  • Middlesex Singles
  • Middlesex 2-wood Singles
  • Hillingdon Open Singles
  • Worthing Open Singles
  • Home County Singles
  • Hayes & District Open Singles
The green and facilities attached to the green are considered amongst the very best in the county of Middlesex and regularly host high profile matches and tournaments.

A full programme of fixtures is in place throughout the outdoor season (late April to end September) which can be single sex or mixed games, friendlies or local league matches. We enjoy a healthy local rivalry with other teams in the area.

The Club also runs internal competitions in both singles, pairs, triples and fours. These are played during the season with finals being held on Finals weekend in September.

Membership for new members is shown in the application form below (this includes a 50% discount for the first year of bowling). Membership for future seasons will be competitive however there are no additional green fees during the season (with the exception of a small contribution to tea and cake on match days). Uxbridge Bowls Club for hosted the Chiltern & Thames Finals on Sunday 10th September 2023. “The whole day was a success and your team of “tea ladies” provided all the attendees with suitable drinks and biscuits throughout the day, and deserve a big vote of thanks for their hard work.  Also deserving of a massive thank you are your green keeping team who worked very hard to give an excellent playing surface.
I know there were many visitors, making their first visit to your Club, and I know they were impressed with the facilities available including those in the Sports Club building.
The Association were grateful for the help received as regards the Raffle, this raised £142 which is very useful as our only other income is from member club’s subscriptions.
Please pass on our thanks to all the members of your Club for hosting us so well, Uxbridge BC did themselves and the competition proud on Sunday
